Michael Luis Dauro lives in Bloomington, Indiana, where he earned his MFA in Creative Writing at Indiana University. He is a CantoMundo fellow, Millay Colony of the Arts recipient, a Pushcart Prize nominee, and has been a finalist for the Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship. Michael has served as a Genre Editor for the Indiana Review and a Guest Editor for Toe Good Poetry. His Poems have been published in journals and anthologies including Rattle, Storyscape, At Length, As/Us Journal, Sonora Review, Luna Luna, The Golden Key, and Western Press Books' Manifest West Anthology. Michael is currently working on his speculative epic, Sierra Amnezia.
